At Appraisal Resource Group we have three appraisers who are
approved by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA), which is
administered through the Federal Government as part of the
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
As of October 1, 2009, HUD is requiring all newly approved
appraisers to hold a Certified Residential level of licensing or
higher. All of the FHA appraisers at ARG have achieved that level of
licensing.
The certified FHA appraisers at Appraisal Resource
Group include Linda Miranda,
Stuart Wolf and
Greg Migdale.
Linda Miranda and Greg Migdale perform the bulk of the residential
and FHA appraisals in the office and Stuart Wolf acts primarily as
an internal review appraiser to ensure every report is thoroughly
documented and compliant with FHA requirements.
We perform FHA appraisals in Monterey County, Santa Cruz County and
San Benito County.
Linda Miranda (license # AR025793) performs most of the FHA
appraisals in Salinas, Watsonville, Santa Cruz and Hollister as well
as North Monterey County where she lives.
Greg Migdale (license # AR034457) performs most of the FHA
appraisals in King City, Greenfield, Soledad, Gonzales and through
out South Monterey County and also in Seaside, Marina, Monterey,
Carmel Valley and Pacific Grove.
The recent enactment of the Home Valuation Code of Conduct (HVCC) on
May 1, 2009 requires that most appraisals for Fannie Mae (FNMA) and
Freddy Mac (FHLMC) be ordered through Appraisal Management Companies
(AMCs). However, there is no such requirement that FHA appraisals be
ordered through AMCs so you can contact us directly to order an
appraisal.
When ordering an FHA appraisal you will need to get a case number
assigned and will need to submit the appraiser’s name and license
number in order to get the case number.
